The casino cashier where you buy and cash in your chips.

Calling Station – P
A player that is almost impossible to bluff because they'll call most bets that you make.

Card Counting - C
In blackjack games, memorizing the played cards to establish when a conditional probability advantage exists on the remaining cards against the dealer so as to bet higher during those periods of advantage.

Case Card – P
The last card in the deck of a particular rank.

Chase
Trying to win back your lost money.

Closing Line – SB
The final point spreads offered before the game starts.

Cold Call – P
When a player that has no money in the pot calls a raise and a re-raise.

Cowboy
King of any suit

Croupier – C
French word for dealer.

Cover – SB
To win the game of event by the required number of points according to the betting line. Also known as covering the spread.

Dog
The underdog according to the betting lines.

Door Card – P
The first community card seen on the flop, or first up card dealt in Stud.

Down to the Felt
Broke. Lost your bankroll.

Drawing Dead – P
Drawing to a hand that is impossible to win with because your opponent already has that hand beat.

Duck
Another name for a duece, or two of any suit.

Even Money – SB
A wager with no point spread.

Face Cards
Jack, Queen, King.

Family Pot – P
A hand where all of the players at the table are involved in.

Favorite
The team or player most likely to win based on the betting odds.

First Base - C
In blackjack first base is the player who sits to the far left of the dealer.

Fish
A sucker. A big loser.

Flush – P
Five cards of the same suit.

Futures – SB
Lines posted on games and championships which will be played in the distant future, such as the Superbowl or the World Series.
