Omaha
Omaha rules are very similar to those of Texas Hold’em. There are five community cards that all players can use, in addition to their hole cards. The biggest difference is that players are dealt four hole cards, and players MUST use two cards and three from the board when making their final hand. Gameplay starts with the posting of the small and big blinds. The player to the dealers left is the small blind and next to them is the big blind.
Cards are dealt one at a time clockwise around the table starting with the player that posted the small blind. Once all players have their cards a betting round begins starting with the player to the left of the big blind, they have the option to call the amount of the big blind, fold, or raise. Once that betting round is complete the dealer will deal the flop which is three cards face up, then another betting round begins.
Onto the turn, when the flop betting round is done the dealer will deal a fourth community card face up and this will start another betting round. Next the fifth and final community card is dealt called the river, followed by another round of betting. Once this round is complete the remaining players will go to showdown and make the best possible five card hand using two of their hole cards and three community cards, and the player with the best hand wins the pot.
